South Western Railway SWR released a notification for the recruitment of 278 apprentice jobs for the year 2014. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to download their application form from website www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in and submit filled application form on or before 18.08.2014 for recruitment of fitter, turner, machinist,welder, electrician, painter as apprentice jobs in south western railway for the year 2014. This notification is published in official website www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in for more details about qualification, age and other details refer notification.
Details of Vacancies:
- Fitter: 123 posts
- Turner: 26 posts
- Machinist: 30 posts
- Welder: 37 posts
- Electrician: 24 posts
- Painter: 18 posts
- PASAA: 20 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates have passed Matriculation pass on 10+2 stream or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit: Candidates age should have completed 15 years and should not completed 24 years as on 14.07.2014. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.
Selection Process: Selection is on the basis on merit basis marks obtained by candidates in matriculation in 10+2 examination system.
How to Apply: Interested and Eligible candidates are requested to download their application form from website www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in and send filled application form along with attested photo copies of certificates in envelop reach to The Chief Workshop Manager, Central Workshops, South Western Railway, Manandawadi road, Mysore-570008 on or before 18.08.2014 by ordinary post for the recruitment of apprentice jobs for the year 2014 in South Western Railway.
