Educational Qualification: Candidates have post graduate degree in concerned subject with B.Ed for PGTs, Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from recognized university with B.Ed  for TGTs, Graduate with Bachelor's of Physical Education(B.P.Ed) or its equivalent for post no.3, Graduation with B.Ed special education for post no.4, BA with music as one for the subject  for post no.5, MA in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art for post no.6, Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Library sciences for post no.7, for more details about post wise qualification refer notification.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit below 36 years for PGTs, below 30 years for Male, 40 years for Female for TGTs, age not exceeds 30 years for remaining all posts as on 01.07.2014. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

Selection Process: Selection is on the basis of their performance in Merit basis.
